Cookie Policy
What cookies this website uses, and how you can manage them.

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. It's typically used to remember your preferences, understand how a site is used, or allow embedded content (like a map) to work properly. Some similar technologies, like the local storage used by this site's cookie banner itself, work in much the same way without technically being a cookie.
Cookies used on this site
Strictly necessary
Your cookie preference (accepted or declined) is stored in your browser's local storage so the banner doesn't reappear on every page. This isn't shared with anyone and contains no personal data, just "accepted" or "declined."
Embedded Google Maps
The Contact page embeds Google Maps for both locations. The map is inert until you click on it. Only once you interact with a map does Google potentially set cookies and process your IP address, under Google's own cookie policy.
Google Fonts
This site's typefaces (Cormorant Garamond and Jost) are loaded from Google's font servers rather than hosted locally. Loading them may involve Google logging your IP address as part of serving the font files, in the same way any web request does.
Analytics: not currently active
This site does not run Google Analytics or any other analytics/advertising cookie at present. If analytics is added in future, it will only load after you've clicked "Accept" on the cookie banner. Declining, or not responding, will keep it switched off. This page will be updated to name the specific tool and cookies used at that time.
Managing your preferences
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner shown on your first visit. To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser settings (or clear your browser's local storage for this site) and reload the page; the banner will reappear. You can also block or delete cookies entirely through your browser's own settings, though this may affect how embedded content like the map displays.
More information
For how any personal data is used more generally, see the Privacy Policy.
